Search for a dataset
You have multiple ways to search for a specific dataset.
- First, using the tree that filter using genetic species.
- Second, using the search bar on top of the window using the name.
- Or, sorting the list on the date or the name. You can sort the list after searching by name or by the species.
Basic Interactions
To interact with the dataset you can :
- Use your mouse to rotate , move and zoom the dataset
- Click on cells to add them in the pick list and interact with them
- Use the Transformation menu to crop or apply a scatter view on the dataset
Interact with cells
When cells are in the pick list, you can interact with these cells :
- Hide or show the cells (for a single or multiple time points)
- Inverse the picked or non-picked cells
- Apply a random color to each cells
- In the Objects menu, you can apply colors selection to the picked cells
Informations list
You can store multiple informations type on a dataset, selections, colormaps on value, texts , ... more informations on the informations formats : https://morphonet.org/help_format
Cell groups
If a dataset contains an information that groups cells, you will have access to a new menu where you can :
- Colorize all cells with a different colors.
- Pick all the cells in the groups as selected.
Cells Invagination
You want to study the development of some cells embedded in the middle of your embryo but you can't observe them properly because some cover your view?
Take a look at this video. It will teach you how to manipulate cells and shaders to see the behaviors you want.
Upload data
You can upload data on the MorphoNet server using OBJ format.
When your data is uploaded, you can view it, share it, and upload properties that can be shared too.
Order objects by information
When a property is uploaded on your dataset, and that dataset has a lineage information, you can use the lineage to order objects using this information and view this order.
Manage sessions for your data
You can create a session for your dataset, a set of parameters that will change the way your data is loaded using a link.\n\n You can set the sessions as default, so it will be loaded even if you're not using this link.
Create an information
To add values to object in your dataset, you can upload a new property on the server.
- Selection group object using an integer shown as a color
- Qualitative information match a float value as a color using a colormap
- Quantitative information store information as text \n\n After creating an information, you can use the curation menu to edit the value of specific objects, overriding their default values.
