3D viewer general help

Upon loading a dataset (whether it is an online dataset or a local dataset), you will be sent to the interactive 3D viewer. There are a lot of tools and menus on the viewer, and in this section we will cover the basics.

On the top of the window, there are buttons to open the different menus to interact with datasets. Some buttons for the menus are contextual, and will appear in specific conditions (for each menu, please refer to the corresponding page). The icon is a button that opens the lineage window, if there is a lineage/tracking property on the dataset.

The slider at the bottom of the window allows to change the time point displayed, if the current dataset has several time points.

To open the Quick help menu, click on the ? button at the top right of the window. It contains a list of shortcuts and a remainder on how to interact with the dataset. it also contains the app version number and a link to the documentation.
(Windows only) The VR button allows you to activate the VR mode if a compatible VR headset is plugged in For more info, please refer to the Virtual Reality section of the documentation

The left menu

Icon	description
	Invert the current selection
	Clear the current selection
	Select the neighbors of all selected objects (only usable if a property with neighboring information is loaded )
	Select the sisters of selected objects (only usable if a lineage/tracking property is loaded)
	Toggle: if on, select objects in other channel(s) that share the same id as selected objects (only usable in multichannel datasets)
	Show all hidden objects at current time point (There is another button to show on all time points while hovering the button)
	Hide all selected objects at current time point (There is another button to hide on all time points while hovering the button, if a lineage property is loaded)
	Apply a random label on each selected object
	Clear ALL visible colors (labels and properties) on the dataset
	Search for objects. The format is: "time,object-id,channel"

The object card menu

Menu	functionalities
	Displays full id of the selected object, or the selected object count. Hover for full ids if several objects are selected (local dataset only) Shows the volume in voxels of selected object, or the average in case of several selections if labels are applied to selected objects, display the label ids
	For each channel of the dataset, allows for quick displaying or hiding of segmented and intensity channels. In example, for the channel 0, the segmentation is shown, and the intensity image is hidden.

The Log panel

Log output. The panel shows the last log output. automatically hides after 5 seconds of inactivity, and shows on hover, or upon receiving any message Clicking on the eye button allows to see more log outputs. Contextually blinks in different colors when interacting with a local dataset to show curation success or error logs.
