This menu is used to manage the label functionality: add labels to objects, remove labels, save labels, propagate labels, etc. |
Main menu
On the right of the label menu is the advanced menu. It allows for more complex interactions with labels and specific objects.
The buttons are generic, but they apply differently depending on the active menu.
in the example below, the active menu is
Current label:

Current label: Apply actions to objects with the currently selected label (in the menu on the left)All labels: Apply actions to all objects with a (or several) labels.Multi-labeled Apply actions to all objects with at least 2 labelsUnlabeled: Apply actions on objects with NO label. |
Show the number of concerned objects at the current time point, and on all time points |
Select all concerned objects at the current time point |
Clear all concerned SELECTED objects at the current time point |
Clear all labels on concerned objects at current time point, or all time points |
Hide all concerned objects at current time point, or all time points |
Show all hidden concerned objects at current time point, or all time points |
Below is the propagation menu. It requires a dataset with a lineage/tracking property.
The menu allows to propagate labeled objects using the lineage property to next or previous time points.
Propagate concerned objects (depending on the selected menu) to next/previous time points |
| Add backward |
Propagate all concerned objects backwards, from the current time point (shown at the t: label in the middle) |
| Clear backward |
Clear all concerned objects backwards, from the current time point (shown at the t: label in the middle) |
| Add forward |
Propagate all concerned objects forwards, from the current time point (shown at the t: label in the middle) |
| Clear forward |
Clear all concerned objects forwards, from the current time point (shown at the t: label in the middle) |
| Time slider |
Min and max values to propagate and clear objects. For instance, if the low value is 5 and the current time is 10, clicking on clear backwards will clear concerned objects from time points 5 to 10. if the high value is 80 and the current time 10, clicking on add forward will propagate the concerned objets from time points 10 to 80, even if the dataset has more time points |
Apply saved labels and save labels
Load saved labels, apply them on the dataset, and save labels on a dataset |
List of the saved labels. Click on the load button to load the label, and click on a loaded label to select it (the selected label is shown in green), and to open the menu to apply or clear it. |
Name of the saved label, Apply and/or clear it on selected objects, or whole dataset when no objects are selected. the + button expands the menu |
Expanded menu. Requires the rights on the datasetUpdate: Update current saved label, overwriting with the labels currently applied to the whole datasetDelete: Delete the property permanentlyDownload: Download the saved label. Shared: Set shared status of the saved label |
Create a new saved label. Will prompt to enter a name, and will save the whole current state |
From the main menu : By clicking on users can manually modify label color and style, using a range of materials and presets. The customized material can be viewed in the left-hand panel. |
In this menu, users can modify their current material by selecting a material style from the list at the top. They can then select one of the presets by clicking on one of the spheres in the "select preset" menu. They can freely choose the color using the color wheel. |
From the main menu : By clicking on the Advanced button, users can access advanced parameters for the selected material to enable fine-tuning. These parameters are numbers that can be set using sliders or text fields, or colors that can be set using text fields or the color wheel. |
From the main menu : By clicking on Upload from file users can save a colormap stored as a file to the server. The colormap will have the name of the file. The colormap must be of a correct format to be readable, for instance a colormap you or someone else downloaded from another dataset. |
